Amazon's Transaction Risk Management Services (TRMS) group designs and builds high performance software systems and processes that identifies and prevents fraudulent transactions across all Amazon platforms. We are looking for senior software engineer who has a strong sense of ownership and a passion for solving complex problems elegantly. Come help us build the next generation Risk Management platform, processes and detection algorithms. Outstanding expertise in C++ or Java/Python and object-oriented design.
A solid understanding of relational databases, SQL and NoSQL databases would be nice to have.
A strong background in algorithms and data structures.
A focus on clean code and solid designs.
At least a bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
The ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
A strong Linux (or UNIX) background.
Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby
